Klaipėda is a city on Lithuania's Baltic Sea coast. It is the third largest city in Lithuania and the country's only port. While Klaipėda is smaller than Vilnius and Kaunas, it is a product of unique history and location making it a worthy spot for visit and exploration.
First and foremost, Klaipėda offers a beautiful Old town – home of a network of theatres and museums. Sculptures, monuments and small street art quirks present an experience full of discovery and mystique. Also, Klaipėda hosts Lithuania's only sea museum and Dolphinarium where the visitors can experience a joyful show of the dolphins as well as learn about the world underneath the sea waves.
Being located right on the shore of the Baltic sea Klaipėda is just a short distance away from Palanga resort and the Curonian Spit, arguably the most beautiful location in an entire region of Baltics.
