In this Bachelor’s programme, you will get theoretical knowledge and practical skills to understand the world at a molecular level.

Programme structure:

Year 1:

• Broad base in everything to do with molecules.
• Mathematics and physics courses to gain understanding of chemical properties.
• Development of experimental and research skills

Year 2:

• Extending knowledge of molecules.
• Organic and inorganic chemistry
• Thermodynamics
• Quantum mechanics
• Fundamental spectroscopy
• Practicals.
• End of year 2: Choose a specialisation: Molecular, Biochemical or Physical-chemical profile.

Year 3:

• Electives
• 8 week Bachelor’s internship focused on independent research with one of the research groups at Radboud University.
