Aviation Engineering bachelor’s degree programme is one of the most popular study programmes globally since the constantly developing aviation industry is in demand for professional technical staff.
Study programme is implemented by TSI in close cooperation with leading Latvian and International airline enterprises. Lectures and workshops are held by exceptional professionals with practical experience in the aviation industry. Programme focuses on the principles of aerospace engineering with a specific emphasis on maintenance and design.
During studies, you get to learn about aerodynamics, propulsion systems, avionics, maintenance of aircraft, ground handling, materials and hardware, and structures relevant to aircraft. Furthermore, students will deal with specific CAMO subjects such as aircraft maintenance planning and Safety Management Compliance Monitoring System.
The programme combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, including practical aspects of aircraft testing, and maintenance. Graduates are equipped to work in various roles within the aviation industry, such as aircraft design, maintenance organisations, or aerospace research and development centres.
Students can be qualified by TSI APAC, which is an EASA approved Part-147 training centre in selected categories: A1 (Aircraft Licensed Technician), B1 (Aircraft License Engineer), B2 (Aircraft License Engineer). Acquiring in-depth knowledge and expertise, students can begin their professional activities during their studies or right after graduation. Students have the opportunity to continue their education in aviation by choosing a professional master’s program of Aviation Management.
are ready to gain understanding of basics of engineering sciences and to attain necessary knowledge and experience for work as an aviation specialist in various areas of this business: in maintenance and repair of aircraft mechanical systems, engines, electronical and communication systems and equipment, as well as related to design and experimental research in aviation
as aviation mechanical engineers or avionics engineers, who are able to control the operation of aircraft systems and structural elements and to organize maintenance of them, and to identify aircraft safety-related problems
