Description:

This one-year Master of Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology will give you the knowledge, skills and competences to design and research new electronics and ICT engineering technologies by combining informatics, communication and electronics with new state-of-the-art machine learning methodologies.

The lessons will be a mix of theory and practice in which you will gain more in-depth expert knowledge about the relevant advanced topics.

You can choose between 3 majors:

  1. Distributed Artificial Intelligence

  2. Internet of Things

  3. Cyber-Physical Systems

The programme aims to train industrial engineers who meet the needs of the professional field and society. The graduates are professionals with a solid scientific research base who can solve complex problems from design to realization. The master of Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology has a solid research base, for example in IDlab and CoSys-Lab, which conducts fundamental and applied research into internet technologies and data science. There is a good balance between theory and practice in the programme.

Your programme:

The programme will examine how it can further strengthen students' critical thinking, design and research skills and the engineering attitude. She will also investigate how giving feedback to students and encouraging independence can lead to even better learning results. The programme strives for a balance between master's thesis topics from companies on the one hand and from research groups on the other.

Although communication with students is already intensive, the training will make it even more effective and focused. Finally, the program will clarify its ambition with regard to interdisciplinarity and support students from disadvantaged groups even more. The program also focuses on blended learning and activating teaching methods and on collaborative learning between advanced and starting students.
