The Comparative Politics and Public Action Master's degree is a two-year program (120 ECTS) offering an in-depth program in political science, specializing in political sociology and public policy, with an international outlook.
It prepares students for all professions requiring intensive work, rigorous methods, critical synthesis, solid and convincing argumentation and advanced analysis, whether applied (public or private sector jobs) or fundamental (research training). For students wishing to pursue doctoral studies (at the University of Montpellier or other universities in France or abroad), it is the preferred course of study.
The program is organized into 4 semesters:
Applications (pre-selection on the basis of files, followed by interviews) are open to holders of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign qualification) in political science or a related discipline.
At the end of their training, Master's graduates have the ability to work intensively, the capacity to synthesize, the mastery of methods for analyzing complex situations, and knowledge of the world of politics and public action.
