The aim of the Biochemical Engineer programme is to train and prepare young people to become professional bioengineers who are capable to apply the principles of biology in the field of industry or applied sciences. The 7-semester programme will equip students with conceptual and practical skills necessary to become highly trained professionals working at the top level of industrial organisations.
The programme provides a sound theoretical basis for the students' future careers, combining it with hands-on practice. The training programme includes an internship at a multinational or local company or non-profit organisation.
The programme is intended for students who plan to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Engineer by completing this seven-semester long course.
Application requirements: High school diploma, a demonstrated proficiency in English: the requested level of English proficiency is B2 (intermediate) according to the Common European Framework Reference (CEFR); the certificate must be an international language exam (e.g.: TELC B2, ECL B2, TOEFL iBT test score of 72, or RPDT score 72; Cambridge First Certificate "B"; IELTS score of 5.5 at least)) and an oral entrance examination.
