Educational programmes of the Doctoral School: Immunology, Dermatology, Reproductive Health, Clinical and Experimental Neuroscience, Experimental and Clinical Investigation of the Cardiovascular System, Clinical and Experimental Research for Reconstructive and Organ-Sparing Surgery, Study on the Pathomechanism and Therapeutic Possibilities of Different Vascular Diseases in Children, Dental Medicine, Translational Medicine, Inflammatory bowel diseases.
Sample research areas at the Doctoral School: Induction, mechanism and complications of transplantation tolerance; Regulation of keratinocyte cell cycle; Premature labour and its prevention; Cognitive, neurobiological and pharmacological aspects of psychiatry; Imaging and device therapy of heart diseases; The role of macrophages in shock conditions; Molecular genetic studies on different renal diseases; Biointegration of alloplastic materials.
Previous Academic records* in fields of pharmacy, medicine or related fields. Certificates of language proficiency in English: at least intermediate level certified by internationally accredited language examination (TEL C B2, ECL B2, TOE FL iBT test score of at least 72, or PBT score at least 550; Cambridge First Certificate at least “B”; IELT S score of at least 5.5) and on individual interview online.
Master's degree (MA, MD, MPharm, MSc) or final year master's / full-time student status. Master's courses accepted (which are accepted by the doctoral school): general practitioner (undivided), dentist (undivided), medical biotechnology, psychology, biologist, info-bionics engineering, molecular biology, and a Research Proposal.
Academic Records: an official English version OR translation of your full Master’s transcript including an explanation of the grading system, and an official English version OR translation of your degree. Specific expectations: students having previous scientific work in the above fields. Applicants should choose a topic proposal, contact the relevant planned supervisor of the proposal and upload an agreement letter from the chosen supervisor of the Doctoral School of Clinical Medicine, University of Szeged. on the given research theme, before submitting the application. The aggreement letter should be signed also by the head of the planned doctral school as well.
