The Sustainable Engineering study program provides the opportunity to acquire competencies that are very necessary for the job market – to be able to implement digital engineering innovations in biological systems and to effectively employ robots: “the robot does the work, and I observe” and to create sustainable technologies.
The program combines engineering with informatics and develops the ability to design sustainable production technologies using engineering tools and digital technology methods, to “communicate” with robots, drones and use intelligent engineering systems and artificial intelligence applications, modernizing agricultural production, organic waste utilization.
The study programme “Sustainable Engineering” is dedicated to nurturing highly skilled sustainability engineering specialists.
This empowers future graduates of the programme to adapt to the demands of the job market and either establish their own engineering consultancy or excel in roles within international corporations as engineers, experts, technologists, consultants, environmental inspectors, project and production managers.
The professional endeavours of graduates are entwined with various companies engaged in identifying and comprehensively resolving engineering challenges. This involves designing and implementing engineering systems in the agricultural sector, the production of food and feed raw materials, bioenergy production, technical expertise, conformity assessment, quality control, consulting, and with firms responsible for executing the European Green Deal. Graduates possess an expansive professional scope, hence, their demand is exceedingly high.
